FAQs

What can I expect from an appointment?

During your initial appointment, we’ll review your entire health history, lifestyle, and any concerns or goals you have. Lab testing recommendations will be made and an initial recommendation may be made that can include dietary guidance, supplements, herbal medicine, and/or lifestyle changes.

After lab testing is complete, a follow-up appointment will be made so we can discuss the results and create a personalized treatment plan.

How much does Naturopathic Care cost?

Our consultations are billed at a rate of $300 per hour, in 15 minute increments. Initial consultations are 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are 45 minutes. Subsequent follow-up visits may range from 15-60 minutes depending on the concern & complexity. For more information on the cost of naturopathic care, click here.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance, but we can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific coverage details. HSA and FSA funds are often eligible for use toward naturopathic visits. Please verify with your specific plan to confirm coverage.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a spectrum of women’s health conditions including, but not limited to:

Do you see pediatric patients?

We are currently not seeing infants or young children at this time, but welcome younger patients ages 13 years of age and up.

Do you prescribe BHRT (Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy)?

Yes, Dr. Chong is currently prescribing bio-identical hormone replacement through Dignity Medical Aesthetics & Wellness in El Dorado Hills in the greater Sacramento area. She does not offer BHRT through Hope Naturopathic.
